Friday Fill-Ins

  1. When will they decide to turn the heat on today?
  2. McLeod’s Daughteres (Season 1) was the last good book I read or movie I saw or tv show I watched.
  3. Everything has its beauty but in many different ways.
  4. Roasted Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and purple potatoes is what I had for dinner. And some spaghetti.
  5. I’d like your suggestions on what to eat for lunch – I’m hungry, but no where downtown is inspiring.
  6. Snuggled up with a blanket napping on the couch is where I want to be right now.
  7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to pizza, tomorrow my plans include playing with fabric and Sunday, I want to enjoy some down time!

re the heat – it’s 90* outside, the heat is on, re lunch – I had a bacon cheeseburger yesterday that was pretty good, plus, I always love fried chicken…

  • Liz – it may be 90* outside, but here in my office it’s about 60*. I think I could chill a drink with my hands.

The Wheat Thins and Fruit Leather I had for lunch were… not nearly as tasty-sounding as what you suggested. 🙂

  • Ooooo… McLeod’s Daughteres (… Hey wait a darn tootin’ minute! There are more than three seasons of that show. I have been thinking all this time that one of my favorite strong female lead role shows was over. I will have to see if the shows have made it to the states on Netflix. I loved that show!

    • It really is a great show. Season 1 is on Netflix Watch Instantly, and the rest of the seasons are available through the mail. I’d only watched partway through Season 3 when I got rid of the cable channel that provided it, so I’m really happy that it’s on Netflix now.

Thanks for visiting! I’ll have to go check out your blog!
