I also love the part where Bingley is getting ready to propose to Jane, and he's pacing back and forth outside. Very cute. And after he asks her, her answer is perfect: "Yes, yes, a thousand times, yes."

Sigh.

I love the moment featured in the picture too. I am more prone to rewinding that scene and watching it over, rather than pausing.

I also LOVE the ending, "Mrs. Darcy. Mrs. Darcy. Mrs. Darcy..." Makes me feel giggly all the way to my toes.

Heidi - you're absolutely right about French Kiss. I'd forgotten about that one (how, I don't know, because I've watched it recently), and you definitely picked out two of the greatest scenes.

I never made it all the way through the BBC P&P, but I know lots of people love it.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment!

I am going to have to agree with both of your selections; I seem to be on a Jane Austin movie kick lately. I really like the Sense and Sensibility movie you mentioned, but I like the BBC production of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth too. One of my favorite moments in from the movie French Kiss. The movie stars Kevin Klien and Meg Ryan. The scene is at the very end of the film when the two of them are standing in the vineyard and they are kissing. Kevin's character embraces the moment; you can tell by his sudden grip tightening move on Megs back during the kiss. Another good moment in the movie is when Kevin kisses Meg on the train while she is sleeping. Basically, she knocks his socks off and he doesn't know how to deal with it. I know, I know, its a romantic comedy, but it has some true moments of good acting between the two leading actors :)
