Continuing with the breakfast-foods theme of the week (eggs on Tuesday, bacon on Wednesday), and following up a post from last fall on brunch ideas, I bring you 13 more recipes for brunch.
- Honey Cake (Smitten Kitchen) – a while ago I was really interested in honey, and this recipe was found while on a search for honey-related foods.
- Sour Cream Coffee Cake with Chocolate and Nuts (Bake or Break) – now, I have a family recipe for coffee cake that is failproof and everyone loves, but it might be good to branch out and try something new.
- Starbucks Chocolate Cinnamon Bread (Family Style) – I’m not familiar with this particular Starbucks treat, but I do like their reduced-fat cinnamon bread, so I can imagine this would be delish also.
- Or, this recipe for Chocolate Cinnamon Bread (Taste and Tell)
- Easy Pull-Apart Cinnamon Cake (SWM) – all I can think is, “must buy Bundt pan.” Or, search the storage unit for one, because I’m pretty sure we own one.
- Chocolate Monkey Bread (Baker’s Banter) – served with slices of banana on the side?
- Or the original Monkey Bread in a Tree (Baker’s Banter)
- Potato Pull-Apart Cinnamon Bread (dlyn) – I like the idea of using potatoes in the dough, as I haven’t heard of anyone doing that for a breakfast bread yet.
- Hazelnut Cinnamon Chocolate Biscotti (mimi on the move) – some of my favorite ingredients, together in one little snack bread.
- Sbrisolona (Lottie + Doof) – I’m all for trying new breakfast breads, Italian or otherwise. This one seems right up my alley.
- Customized Breakfast and Brunch Bundles (Inn Cuisine) – I love this idea – simple yet almost elegant.
- And this version of eggs in a hole is just too cute to pass up (For the Love of Food).
- Silver Palate Outrageous Granola (Half Baked) – perhaps not terribly brunchy, but looks good nonetheless.
