Today I’m thankful for…
…my job. It’s good to be employed. It’s nice to have a flexible boss and nice benefits, so I don’t have to worry about what would happen if I got hit by a bus.
…my very friendly dentist and the good work he does, even if I don’t actually enjoy getting a cavity filled. Plus, he plays KTIS in the office and remembers all sorts of details about my life.
…today being the last day of classes for the semester. Yay! I never did get around to finishing the book, and I’m not actually feeling guilty about that, which is also good.
…finishing up the ornaments for the swap. 10 ornaments are now in padded envelopes, waiting for a little note to be put with them before I mail them out on Saturday.
…plans made with and this weekend to go to No Coast Craft-o-Rama. I haven’t seen them in ages!
…the showing of our house yesterday, even if only to a Realtor without clients. Plus, for the gentle reminder that we need to keep our house clean, even if we rarely have showings.
…snow. It makes the cold more bearable.
… chopping the onion for last night’s dinner, and that another Martha Stewart recipe came through. I think I’ll post it, if we make it again (and remember to do the marinade overnight, instead of just 15 minutes before).
