Question of the Week

What is your strangest possession?

OK, after reading over other people’s comments to that question, I’m at a loss. I’ve got a couple options.

  • should definitely go on the list.
  • My book collection includes over 20 Bibles (including one that’s in Spanish, which I don’t speak), multiple French books that I’ll most likely never be able to read, and, while we’re being racy today, several trashy romance novels.
  • I have a box in the top of my closet with cassette tapes (remember those?).
  • I also have a Rubbermaid container halfway full of old jeans that are supposed to be evolving into a blanket or quilt of some kind.

You’ve been to my house… what do you think is my strangest possession?

You are a comment whore… And you don’t own enough strange things. I know, I’ve moved many of them at least once.

    Love ya,

I take offense at that remark, L. I am not a comment whore! If I were, the content of this blog would be much different. I do happen to like comments, though.

A… I tend to agree with you, but let me propose this. When I was at your house once, I borrowed a racy novel from your mom.

If I own something that can make A blush, shouldn’t that count for something?

Though, come to think of it, I have had to explain things that ya’ll didn’t understand (I’m thinking CityPages, that coffeeshop…). Mostly, I think people just think I’m a little more innocent than I actually am, earlier post from today notwithstanding (about being the oldest person to have ever received a French kiss that wasn’t a nun).

That conversation about that thing in the paper was just….like something from an alternate universe. I can’t believe you knew what they were talking about!!

I’m so proud of that moment. I consider it a high point in our early friendship. 🙂
