I usually protest when someone refers to the phrase “beaten like a redheaded stepchild,” since I figured out that I technically am a redheaded stepchild, and would rather not be beaten, thank you very much. But today, I’ve decided that Cingular needs to be beaten, and, for lack of a better description, that’s what I’m going to use.
I don’t know why, because I checked my bank account and everything there is fine, but they didn’t renew my account. And so consequently my phone wasn’t working, which I found out after leaving ‘s house tonight. Oh, and our house phone was unplugged, so I had no way to get a hold of them. Their website says you can contact customer support by email, but you have to login to “My Account,” which isn’t something they actually let prepaid plans do. They’ve got a different account system, and we don’t get nice options like that. So I borrowed ‘s phone to call them. And they kindly told me that they’re closed. WTF?
So, because I don’t like being without a phone, I went on and paid my month’s worth. But tomorrow they’re getting a not-so-nice phone call, because I want my $120 worth of credit back. Bastards. I’m really ticked. Who can I hurt?
