I’m lost in the rhythm of this life. I’ve read the things I should do, the things I shouldn’t, how they should be done, etc. And I know in my head the importance of a Sabbath. I feel it in my heart, my body. Yet I am unable to actually grasp it. I have “two” days off each week. One I still end up doing work stuff at night. I sleep in, spend the afternoon running errands, and then end up at the church. The other one is Saturday. I try to sleep in and go to bed early in preparation for the early Sunday service. The hours in-between I relax, yes, but I still wouldn’t call it a Sabbath. I suppose I am still confused as to what Sabbath really means. Rest, yes, but it must be more than that.
